Your Worries
What to do about your concerns?
As a service user in Sandwell, you no doubt have a wealth of experience with health and social care services upon which you can draw. These experiences - as small as visiting the GP when you have an ear infection or living in supported accommodation, or as large as giving birth at the local hospital or living in a care home - will have equipped you to comment on whether the service you received was what you wanted and what you needed, or what your family member needed should the social care pertain to a relative. In any case, the information you have is valuable to Sandwell LINk and through your input, Sandwell LINk can work with providers to maintain a high standard or improve a lower one.
But what happens when you have a specific concern about your family member?
In such a case, Sandwell LINk cannot help you directly. Sandwell LINk is there to look at the services, but it cannot get involved in individual cases. We'd welcome that you tell us about the lapse in services so that we can consider the overarching whole, but in order to address your worries we direct you to the following:
In healthcare you can go to Patient Advice and Liaison Services (PALS). Their contact numbers are detailed below and you can find more information on our 'Partners' page.
For Sandwell Primary Care Trust, call: 0800 030 4654 (FREEPHONE)
For Sandwell, City and Rowley Hospitals, call: 0121 507 5836
